General Description
How wonderful to be able to stroll to the local Farmer’s market every evening and pick up a wealth of delicious seasonal produce during your stay at this villa, a delightful village house with a private pool in the traditional Provençal village of Velleron.
Market lovers also note you are only 6km from L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, famed for its antique stores and Sunday morning brocante, one of the most famous flea markets in Provence. That said, you may prefer to spend your time canoeing along the Sorgue River, hiking through the landscapes of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse or cycling to your hearts content in the foothills of Mont Ventoux.
Indeed, the villa enjoys a superb setting for guests wishing to soak up the authentic ambience of village life in Provence whilst also being so well located for so many highlights of the region. It’s such an attractive little home for 2-4 guests with a small, pretty lounge and dining area, a characterful wood stove, an open kitchen on the side alongside a double bedroom and modern shower room. A separate garden studio is home to the second en suite double bedroom and also features a private terrace.
The Villa's Provençal garden is gorgeous with a shady mulberry tree for al-fresco feasts, deck chairs by the small pool for warm summer afternoons alongside a stone bridge crossing the flowing natural stream – it really is so charming.
The heart of medieval Velleron is a short stroll away with a small handful of restaurants, a bakery and a small supermarket just on the edge of the village. The Sorgue River flows past the foot of the village, close to the market place which hosts a fantastic Farmer’s market six evenings a week (April to September, three times a week during other months). Only farmers from the Velleron area can sell their produce – the market has gained a fine reputation over time and attracts thousands of visitors each year. Wander back to your holiday home with strawberries, cherries, olives, melons and other seasonal delights of Provence.
N.B.
Please note that there is a small stream that runs through the grounds of the property.
Only children over the age of 8, as well as babies in arms, can stay at this villa.
One of the bedrooms is in the main house, the other one is in a separate garden studio.
Please note that the available electric vehicle chargers are located at car parking spaces 200m and 300m from the property.

We had a lovely stay at this property

We had a lovely stay at this property. It is in a small village with a few restaurants (one very good one!) bars and bakeries and a small supermarket. The property is a perfect place to relax, it has a lovely spec with a beautiful garden and a very helpful owner. I would highly recommend it and I am sure we will return at some point.

We had a wonderful time in Velleron. The house was superb, the location was exactly what we were looking for and the owner was fantastic, helping us with tips for the area, etc. There is honestly nothing we can think of that can be improved, apart from the fact that we weren't able to stay another week as you were already booked!
We will be back with joy

The house is lovely and tastefully decorated. We took full advantage of the garden and the swimming pool while being able to easily go shopping on foot. We will be back with joy!

We had a wonderful time at Villa La Sorgue. The house and garden are amazing and very well designed. The house is very nice furnished and the garden is beautifully landscaped. With great attention to detail, the small property creates a harmonious feel-good atmosphere. Our whole family felt very comfortable. Everyone found their favorite spot to splash around, read or watch the fish and ducks that could sometimes be seen in the stream. The surroundings of Velleron are also very pleasant for cycling. The farmer's market is also a big plus for the village, which we visited almost every day. We will definitely come back.
What more to say, everything was top!
